COMPSPHERE 12
International two-phase student hackathon on Web3 Innovation organized by President University. Phase 1 is online conceptual proposal filtering. Top 30 teams advance to a 24-hour final to build a functional MVP and live pitch at Cikarang, Indonesia, with remote option for international teams.
参赛资格 / Eligibility
Active high school, vocational, or undergraduate university students aged 15 to 25 only. Companies and professional organizations excluded. Open to all countries and territories excluding standard exceptions. Teams must have exactly 3 members. Each team must enter as National Team, Full International Team, or International Mix Team. All members must join Discord and complete Twibbon requirement.
交付物 / Deliverables
Phase 1 for all teams: Idea Proposal PDF max 10 MB using official template covering executive summary, data-driven problem, solution and value proposition, MVP features, market impact, tech architecture and system design, with category-based filename, plus Instagram Twibbon link via Devpost Additional Info. Phase 2 for Top 30 only on compsphere.id: public GitHub or GitLab repository with 24-hour commit history, presentation slide deck PDF or PPT max 10 MB for 10-minute live pitch, optional but recommended live deployment URL.
评审 / Judging
Phase 1 online proposal: Innovation and Value Proposition 30 percent, Problem Relevance and Solution Fit 25 percent, Technical Architecture and Feasibility 20 percent, Market and Impact Viability 15 percent, Document Clarity and Structure 10 percent. Phase 2 final: Functional Project and Live Demo 35 percent, Problem-Solution Fit and Public Impact 30 percent, Creative Tech Implementation 20 percent, Pitching and Q&A Defense 15 percent. Special awards for public vote, pitching, Web3 innovation, and high school.
限制 / Constraints
Date fields above come directly from the platform; they take precedence over timing mentioned in the AI brief. Original work only. MVP must be built strictly during 24-hour final and match Phase 1 proposal. Pre-existing projects, hardcoded-data mockups, UI-only prototypes without running backend prohibited. Must integrate core Web3 elements such as decentralized authentication, cryptography, immutable database or smart contracts. Crypto tokens or DeFi not required. Must follow template, naming convention, Discord and Twibbon rules. Platform timestamps use explicit timezone.
投入 / Effort
Estimate: Medium-high effort. Phase 1 requires research, data validation and architecture design for a 10 MB proposal plus social tasks. Finalists need intensive 24-hour MVP build, deployment, pitch preparation and travel or remote coordination.
奖金 / Prizes
$1,247 cash pool. Grand Prize $500 for 1st place, $312 for 1st Runner Up, $187 for 2nd Runner Up, $62 each for Public Favourite by website votes, Best Pitching, Best Innovative Web3, and Best High School team. Deployment to public network earns major consideration but is not a cash bonus.
