AnimalHack 2026
AnimalHack 2026 is a free, fully online, student-led international hackathon for technology solutions supporting animals, animal welfare and human-animal relationships across pets, farm animals, wildlife and living environments, with flexible work and live online presentations.
参赛资格 / Eligibility
Devpost lists participants must be above legal age of majority in country of residence, Students only, companies and professional organizations excluded, all countries and territories excluding standard exceptions. Event text also states open to all ages and technical backgrounds with no prior hackathon experience required, and individuals and teams may join. 交付物 / Deliverables
Complete all three by deadlines to remain eligible for awards: 1) Submit project to Devpost by 12pm Sept 12, 2026. 2) Register presentation via designated Google Form shared in Discord by same deadline, including presenter name and contact, country and timezone, project title, one-paragraph abstract, and public link to actual outcome such as repository, drive, or live app. 3) Deliver 10-minute online presentation on Sept 13, 2026 including about 3 minutes Q&A.
评审 / Judging
Projects judged live on four criteria: Impact on quality and quantity, size of problem solved and breadth of help or inspiration; Creativity and innovation including originality, creative combination, or significant improvement; Execution on how successfully the idea became a functional, demonstrable or well-supported outcome; Presentation clarity in explaining problem, importance, solution and results.
